These are very exciting times for all our lawyers in London. Our mergers in 2008 and 2011 opened new chapters in our expansion and we have established significant new practices in IP, Private Equity and Venture Capital, Competition and Banking, building on the core strengths of these prominent practices in our US offices.

Our more established practice areas continue to thrive, with our work becoming increasingly international in flavour. As well as working regularly with our clients and colleagues in the US, we have a co-operation agreement with the Bermuda firm Marshall Diel & Myers, where one of our former senior associates is now based. We also have a busy and flourishing Hong Kong office which has just celebrated its first anniversary. From time-to-time we are able to offer trainee secondments to our offices outside London, most recently to Hong Kong.

We think our firm offers trainees something unique, the best quality international work, with plenty of opportunities for secondments and travel, in the supportive structure of a small, strong, established city practice. Our trainee intake is select, ensuring that we give you great training in a very interactive working environment. Trainees are a highly visible and integral part of our working teams. We are fiercely proud of the collegiality, support and responsibility we can offer all our trainees.
